Typogun is a very original twist on the classic overhead turret game, in which advancing enemies display a word near themselves, and typing the word correctly causes the central turret to shoot at them, usually killing them. Enemies often leave behind powerups which are grabbed the same way. The enemies gradually get tougher and more dangerous and appear more often, demanding quicker and cleaner typing responses from the player. Stages are organized by the type of vocabulary the enemies will be displaying.
